Science With Balloons!

 

 

 

December 2023 in Our Amazing Classroom 16!

 

"Your TASK everybody is to try to fly a Balloon from one side of the room to the other, reaching and touching the wall on the opposite side."

 

Well, just blowing it up and aiming it that way didn't work! It went crazy. "there has to be a better way."

 

"Oh, so now you tell us we can get string, a straw, and some tape. What are we supposed to do with that, Mr. Stathis."

 

"Figure-it out with your Team members!" he says.

 

This seems to be working! String tied from one side of the room to the other with it slide through a straw. The straw taped on the top of the balloon. What a plan!

 

"We're almost ready to launch!"

 

"Uhhgg. I don't think we put the straw on right???!!! It's just spinning around the string and not going across."

 

"Ours is on the way!"

 

Oh ho! It almost made it before running our of gas....air, that is."

 

"Whoa, look at that one go!"

 

"Yes!"

 

"We're just about ready to try ours!"

 

"We attached a guy to ours! Transportation!"

 

"Now we figured it out....I think....."
