Mixing-in a little "plant food" into the soil before planting.

 

The plant food is a natural mixture of nutrients that will blend with the soil and when watered, and the seeds begin to take root, they will get extra nutrients from the soil for their growth.

"Our Seeds are beneath the warm Earth now! I've watered them so they can feel the moisture now after being dry for so long in their package. I shall help them begin their new life!"

 

"Is this really going to work?"

In the days ahead, each student waters his/her seeds, and looks to see if the sprout of new life has yet come forth!

Seeds! You have Slept! A Poem by Timothy Stathis

 

There are 3 Version below of Tim Stathis's Famous Poem to be spoken, with real feeling, at the time of planting.

 

The 1st is there are 3 to the group voicing the poem (or 6, etc.) each assigned to a different color, reading that line designated by their color. A whole class could still do this, as well, different groups 1/3 1/3 1/3 assigned to a different color.

 

Version 2, if there are 2 reading, or 4, or any even number; here with only 2 parts exchanging. It's a different feeling that emerges than the groups of 3, as with 3, they at parts come together as 2 or 3 united in verse....

 

The original not in parts. But could be used to reunderline in different colors to change the arrangement of who speaks when in a group reading aloud.
